Our client is now in the market for a specialist Fire Protection Officer on providing expert technical advice and policy in relation to Building Services and Fire Safety and related matters in the context of the building regulation approval process. This successful candidate will have to demonstrate expert fire safety systems guidance and review submission of plans, calculations and other supporting information for projects, including large-scale, high-rise and complex developments to ensure that work is undertaken in accordance with statutory requirements and the highest professional practice.

Person Specification

In this role, you will have:

- A good mechanical background,

- Experience with Fire Strategy Designs,

- A good understanding of Fire Suppression / Detections Systems with a good overview on the subjects as well as good research and technical abilities,

- Been involved with plan checking for fire safety,

- Been involved in Fire Site Inspections,

- Good interpersonal skills,

- Been involved in the commissioning of Fire Safety Systems.
