Salary: £22,000 - £25,000
Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
Our client is a leading specialist Insurance Broker with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding service to clients within their specific market segment. We are currently recruiting for a Premier Broker / Commercial Account Handler to assist in effectively administering and servicing the insurance requirements of clients within the Premier Account.
Responsibilities
Within the Premier Broking Tea m you will be responsible for managing more technical queries from the company`s larger clients, typically placing premiums in excess of £100,000
Accurately prepare quotations, renewals and endorsements, market and place new and existing business within the relevant regulations and company procedures
Service clients without the assistance of Territory Managers
Prepare and ensure that all documentation is checked prior to issue
Ensure that all amendments are dealt with promptly and confirmed in writing to the client
Ensure that all clients with claims are kept informed of progress, notifying in writing if unable to deal with any part of the claim
Ensure that all accounts procedures are carried out promptly and accurately
Provide the clients with an enhanced level of service with a minimum of two visits per year
To assist with development/training of other staff as/when requested by the Compliance Director or Director/General Manager
To assist with coverage for Territory Managers if requested by the Development Manager
Skills
You will need a sound working knowledge of Commercial Insurance, and Persona Lines Experience in addition would be advantageous
Experience in dealing with large commercial / corporate account would be beneficial albeit not essential
Excellent communication, negotiation and telephone skills
Working knowledge of Misys system would be beneficial
Knowledge of Insurance Codes of Practice
