The main duties of the Senior Civil Engineer include

• Develop innovative technical solutions


• Act as mentor to less experienced team members


• Co-ordinate work with multi-disciplinary teams


• Support design management of projects and bids


• Encourage the promotion of, and compliance with, quality, safety and environmental systems


• Assist in the development, promotion and implementation of company technical strategies


• Interface with clients on project technical, commercial and progress matters


• Line management responsibility for assigned staff

Essential

• Relevant engineering degree


• Membership of appropriate professional institution


• Experience in technical delivery of clean and wastewater treatment along with network projects


• Excellent communication and motivation skills


• Team player


• Self starter


• Problem solver i.e. ``Can -do`` attitude

Desirable

• Chartered engineer


• Client facing skills


• Work in an engineering design consultancy


• Experience of working on design and construct projects#
