Commercial Account Executive
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Car Allowance & Bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Executive to join a leading National Brokerage with a regional presents in Worcester. Our clients` current team has reached the stage where they are spending all of their time processing business rather than developing their books, and are subsequently seeking a driven Account Executive to aid the continual development of their commercial book.
On offer is a healthy salary + Bonus and the opportunity to take on a book generating Circa £200,000 Commission income and develop it in line with overall company targets. You will be expected to design and implement your own strategy on how to develop the book and maintain a healthy retention rate.
This is a good opportunity for either an experienced Account executive or an experienced Account Handler looking to make the step up.
Responsibilities:
Manage an existing book of Commercial Business and develop the portfolio in line with new business targets
Accurately obtain information to enable the office to prepare quotations, market and place new and existing business within the relevant regulations and office procedures
Provide customers with all relevant information in accordance with regulatory bodies, and communicated accurately and relevant to the individuals insurance understanding
Assist in settlement of claims, in a fair and prompt manner, as and when requested
Ensure that all accounts procedures and queries are carried out promptly and accurately
Skills:
Previous experience within the Insurance Industry and a strong understanding of Commercial Insurance Risks
Able to effectively present Commercial Insurance Risks to corporate clients
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with good client facing experience
