My well established client is looking for a Junior Level Accountant to join their succesful team. Are you an Accountant looking for a new challenge?
You must be in the process of completing, or have completed your ATA qualifications.
You will ideally have Motor Trade Dealership experience from within an accountancy role and the following:
-To produce accurate management accounts on a monthly basis for the business franchises and to work with the management team to identify incremental profit opportunities.
-To provide management information, particularly month end and end of year accounts.
-To ensure costs are allocated to correct product/service and that all eligible bonuses are claimed.
To develop and implement accounting policies, methods and procedures for continuous improvement.
-To maintain a general awareness of Manufacturers programmes to ensure the Dealerships are complying with the most up to date marketing programmes.
-To prepare and submit manufacturer inter dealer comparisons.
-To assist with the collation of information for any external audits.
-To analyse and check balance sheets, regularly monitoring and investigating discrepancies.
-To process and maintain accounts and ledgers.
-To set up accounts and post routine budget, revenue, expense and correcting entries.
-To regularly monitor and check bank statements.
-To prepare revenue and expense projections and any financial reports as requested.
-To ensure that good relationships are maintained and developed with internal and external customers by meeting their requirements and exceeding their expectations.
-To be aware that this client is authorised and regulated by the FSA and that only employees who have completed and passed full FSA training may advise on or undertake any regulated business.
-To read, understand and comply at all times with the Company Health and Safety
